Wow. What a freaking crappy offensive performance. Should've blown the game open in the second and they just chose to fold instead.

Come walk 18 with me carrying your bag.

Baling hay and chopping firewood are hard too...

I’m just salty because of this game.... ;)

Why you insert automatic outs like Gomes and Taylor on a winning streak is beyond me.

I don’t mind it. Suzuki can’t play every day or even close to it. And If you don’t play Taylor against lefties in a park with a big outfield, what’s the point of having him on the roster?

Like I said, This one is on Corbin.
Yeah Gata has his whipping boys. This is all on Corbin. I think the high pitch counts are coming home to roost

It's not just Corbin.  Despite the 1st inning, the Nats only put 7 men on base (4 hits, 3 walks).  The Padres put 13 men on base (6 hits, 7 walks).

Suzuki is a 35 year old catcher. That is ancient. Kendrick is 35 years old and coming off a catastrophic injury.

How many times are you going to keep explaining to those 2 idiots that Suzuki is too old to play every day?

Can’t blame em. Flying from DC to San Diego on a private jet is a lot to endure. Rough life these ballplayers have.

Of the major sports, baseball is easily the least physically taxing.
It's also the most difficult.

Several of us have tried to reason with AD. He's just a blowhard. He's the imref of The Clubhouse.

Davey did a great job managing the 1st. :)

These last two starts by Corbin have been awful.  Hopefully there's no injury issue.
