Three game winning streak. First of the season? I can't remember the 2019 Nats winning more than two in a row...

Stick with the kid.   He has great stuff.    Nerves got the best of him in his first appearance.

This was the first time.  Last team in the majors to do so...

Given how crappy this bullpen is, I think you give the guy another chance. Are people worried he’s going to take appearances away from Suero and Grace?

Throws to the backstop with the best of them.

2019 Nats win number 22.

On June 2, 1959 Washington Senators beat Cleveland, 3 - 2, as Pedro Ramos won a 10-inning complete game on seven hits, 2 walks, 8 K's. Bob Allison had his 10th home run and his 29th RBI. Now hitting .284, .842 OPS, on his way to RoY. As of today, Bryce Harper has 9 homers and is hitting .230 with .804 OPS.

1959 Nats now 22 - 26.

I’m listening to Martinez’s presser, it’s not as bad as it usually is.  He sounds like a normal say-nothing manager and not a blithering idiot.

Honestly he sounds a bit more confident now.

This. Plus he did get three ground balls. The double play, a ball that The Hitting Statue That Is Howie Kendrick missed, and the Dozier ball. He'll be fine.

Maybe not run him out there in the ninth inning to open his career there, Davey. Could have easily flipped Bourque and Guerra's order and no one would have said boo.
