it's all Martinez fault

100-106 as a manager.

63-80 since June 10th.

If Martinez isn’t fired after Sunday’s game he won’t be fired until the end of the season. We might soon be in 4 year plan mode. 😳

Monday was the perfect time to fire Davey. It appears the front office is content to watch another season go up in flames.

Lerner could probably charter a whole Greyhound bus to Fresno for pretty cheap...

Even Jesus Christ as manager wouldn't make a difference with these talentless bums.

I remember someone posting in a game thread a few years back that after reading the MLB spiel about how this broadcast should not be disseminated....Ray Knights as one of his last moves as a color commentator said this bullpen needs to be disseminated!!   Outside of Doolittle, this is so true.  Max has earned enough respect with the game and the Nats to not be subject yo this!

Hard to believe that just 2 years ago the Nats battled the Cubs in a 5 game series.

Now they don’t even belong on the same field together.

Davey has ruined this franchise.

Maybe we can repeat this on Sunday Night Baseball for the whole world to see.

Nats should offer refunds for tonight.  Papa Johns is charging double price tomorrow to all Nats fans.

Fox tomorrow and ESPN Sunday. Most thought this would be an intriguing matchup of contenders.

Cubs - perennial contender

Nats - perennial joke

Why pay for a good manager when we’re clearly headed for rebuilding??? May as well keep Martinez around to save dollars and finish closer to the bottom for better draft picks. Sad but la-la-la .....

Davey might get fired if the Cubs just absolutely embarrass the Nats this weekend. Not just a sweep, but a thorough beatdown.

Throughout my life supporting DC sports, I don't think I've hated a team more than this one.

I don’t think I’ve ever followed a team that’s as frustrating as this one. Also, Rizzo needs to be fired today. His repeated inability to put together even a semi-competent bullpen shows that he shouldn’t be a major league GM.

Without hyperbole, this is easily the worst bullpen I have ever seen in 3 decades of watching baseball.

Havin' a beer with VaRK, Cope and JCA near section 221.     Bases loaded and Michael A. Taylor struck out.    That's it.   They'll talk about good at bats.    They'll say the bullpen wasn't good.    Probably add Max didn't have his stuff   ....  but that strikeout was a dagger.    At that time, I started roaming toward the centerfield exit.   Knew the Cubs were too good for it to remain close facing this bullpen.     Good to catch up with VaRK, JCA, bluestreak and Tomterp.     Nice to meet Cope for the first time.

This.

Brutal, embarrassing, and a disgrace. Rizzo should be fired.

Kris Bryant is the 12th player in MLB HISTORY to hit a HR in 3 straight innings. This freaking bullpen.

Upon further review (and a night's sleep), this game was as bad as we remember it.
