Getting rid of wall’s contract is a good return for Beal
I have a hard time believing Miami would take it.

No rush for the Wiz.  They will be terrible for years either way.

I'm with HS (probably everyone is) on the Wall contract.    If we can get rid of it, go.    I'm laying there last night and all of a sudden Ferrall is goin' on about Miami taking Wall's contract to get Beal.    If Wall comes back healthy, they have a point guard.     However, if Riley's in this, I'd keep my eye on my proverbial wallet.

Wall healthy was going to be an overpay based on his performance when he signed the supermax, wall degraded at all makes it a terrible deal, wall not being able to play makes it the worst contract in the nba (maybe nba history?)

Maybe they will take Mahinmi and Dwight Howard also.

Perchance to dream  ....   However, I am curious to see what Howard has left.     But if you're gonna clean house, clean it all out.

I’m actually looking forward to next year. Three draft choices over the last two years to watch. At least some hope even if it turns out false. Problem is they have a veteran coach who will want to win. So he will want to play vets.

I am too.   It has to be better than the "spinning our wheels" from the last several years.    I wanna see Bryant improve and what Hachimura has.   They said his summer program is to shoot a lot of threes.     :)      Brooks may get the word that development is where we are  ....  kind of like early OKC.     Maybe they'll extend him.     This is where ya need a Brad Stevens.

Brooks seems like a fine coach for tanking. I just hope they unload Beal and pick up some decent picks. I’d personally keep wall because you aren’t using the cap space this year anyway. You can always stretch him once you need the money to free up a little cap space. More than anything, they need a gm which a vision and not a place holder- too many long term decisions have to be made

Agree. Just worry about Brooks. He kept Brown tied to the bench most of the year. Hope he gets the word.

Once you take away Beal, I trust Brooks to be able to loose games. I think it’s a year or two early to hire a creative energetic coach- they may back into too many wins; I’m confident in Brooks to avoid that fait

I got the feelin' Tommy Sheppard is the "unannounced" guy.    He's makin' a lot of decisions to pass it all along to a new guy.    IMHO Ted's made his choice.

He's not afraid to act, is he. Good thing. The 'zards need someone to make serious moves.

Shouldn't the NBA change it to "Injured Player Exception"?

How about a retarded front office special draft pick?

Troy Brown junior looked good. As did Justin Robinson. Rui was a bit rough on offense. It surprisingly good on defense. At least in half one which was all I saw.

Saw him a few times.    He's adequate right now and I expect him to grow into a nice player for the Wiz.     He and I may be related   ....   by marriage.   :)

It’s funny between the young guys and Beal, this is a likable team. I don’t think they’ll win, but they should be fun to watch
