What’s that, 16 straight scoreless innings?

Does Buehler get the rest of the day off?

I thought the theme was FBDO

May 11 is Twilight Zone Day (and Scherzer threw 20 Ks on a previous one.) When I saw the opposing pitcher was named Buehler, I HAD to combine it with Ferris Bueller's Day Off, given the decline in Scherzer's and the Nationals' fortunes.

A week ago, Matthew Broderick said that Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) is still mentioned to him more than any other production. The late John Hughes wrote the script in one week.

:yesyes:

I think he was a rookie with the Pirates with Clemente.    Somehow, Clemente got all the press.

Twilight zone was before my time. I'm gonna stick with Ferris Bueller.

White Sox...

I thought the original structure of your sentence (without an "a") made it read like Pale Hose was role in a movie.     We're on the same page now.     Anybody seen my keys?

I think the SyFy channel has Twilight Zone marathons every Labor Day or Memorial Day or something. They usually show 2 30-minute episodes on Sundays at 8 am.

Good, that's what good directors/producers do.       :dibbs:
