I suspect that Young has a continuing problem with his achilles injury, and running the bases after being in the game this long was maybe too painful.  HOT BAT though.

I suspect that Young has a continuing problem with his achilles injury, and running the bases after being in the game this long was maybe too painful.  HOT BAT though.

Not that I like substituting Fick for Young that early in the game but Acta must have been thinking that Young may not get another at bat anyway (assuming the BP can hold the lead) and getting a better glove at 1st may actually help towards that end.

Nice way to get out of the inning Rauch. Now we need Chief to come in and slam the door shut.
