The only positive I can see is that the defense appeared to be playing very hard. The whole team did, at least while the game was in reach.  That's the Callahan affect, probably. Unfortunately, it's all canceled out by the Snyder/Allen affect.

When Snyder got rid of Vinny and brought in Allen, I through he changed and grew up- I was wrong and it turns out Allen is actually worse. Until Snyder is no longer associated with this team, they will be a dumpster fire. Maybe they find a coach willing to flush their career to come here, odds are we get a retread desperate to be in the league. Even if Allen goes, does anyone expect someone competent to come here and actually be empowered?

Tua going #1 to Dolphins. I hope Skins get Chase Young or somehow pull a reverse RGIII trade.

Haskins is going to go down in the pantheon of worst first round QBs.  We need to draft another QB.

They wont though. Snyder/Allen will blame Callahan and they'll fire him in the offseason. Then they'll hire some young, OC to coach Haskins up. That will devolve into a Griffin/Shanahan scenario

I don't think we have enough to make this judgement yet. Haskins didn't play enough in college to prepare him for this. Best picture, he stays healthy through the cluster freak that is the Redskins management and goes on to be a starter for a moderately successful franchise somewhere else.

Redskins fail a last second attempt to trade Trent Williams. Mind numbing mistake. Maybe the most valuable single asset on the roster will go unused an entire year. They were too stubborn early when teams like the Texans and Browns were desperate and then the Redskins panicked late.

I want to believe, but I do not see how this gets better with Bruce Allen in charge. Horrible management.

All that’s left of this season is watching Haskins play and prove that Danny and Allen have no idea what they’re doing

Semi-serious question, when do you stop wanting to believe in people that are incompetent, unaware, and uncaring?

I also don't get why he names Bruce Allen but not Snyder.  This organization will go nowhere unless little Danny boy gets blasted into the sun.

While I agree with you, it's possible - just possible - that the owner could hire and empower a real football guy to run the team. Bruce Allen is not a real football guy.

It's possible for a normal owner.  Not possible for Snyder.  Being a self-absorbed egomaniac with a compelling need to hire yes-men is part of his DNA.

Agreed, I think this is the excuse he used because he wasn't getting the money he wanted and because he wanted to bail on the team and perhaps get traded. What I really hate about this is that they didn't trade him to get something in return.
