I hear the Redskins are going to offer the steelers draft pick compensation for their coach. The only time that I recall a team doing that Bruce Allen was involved. I can see the steelers playing hard ball and ending up with the Redskins number 1 pick for the next 3 season. :hang:

I'm assuming a low level hire being our best hope, barring a reshuffle of the front office.

Mike McCarthy seems a likely option. I don't like it, but this is the same front office who hired Jim Zorn, so certainly could be worse.

McCarthy is highly overrated.   The only reason he had any success with The FudgePackers was soley because of Erin Rodgers.  Last time I checked he isn't on The Redskins roster.  The fact that Vikings and Bears fan were sorry to see him leave should tell you how backwards he is as a coach.

Sadly he is probably the best option willing to come here.   :icon_frown:

I bet Greggggg Williams would take the job.  Probably only chance he'll ever have to be HC.

At least he would shore up the defense.  And yeah with Bounty gate hanging over his head Gregg might put his feud with Snyder on the wayside.

The dolphins players haven't quit and showed no signs to be tanking but I got the sense when they scored that last TD that the coaching staff was OK with going for 2 and not making it. The play call was suspect.

Players have their next contract to worry about - they aren’t quitting

Heard an interview with Kyle Shanahan today.  They asked:

What were the pro's during his term with the Redskins?

He said "Working with my dad and a few good coaches."

What were the con's during his term with the Redskins:

     He said "Everything else."

There were a LOT of 49ers fans in this hood last night from various hotels around here.  The 49ers traveling fan base doesn't seem very SF...Fresno 49ers?

I'm just hoping it is bad enough that Dan Snyder ejects Bruce Allen.

This has to be a total reset.

The only positive I can see is that the defense appeared to be playing very hard. The whole team did, at least while the game was in reach.  That's the Callahan affect, probably. Unfortunately, it's all canceled out by the Snyder/Allen affect.

not going to happen, Allen is Snyder's new hand puppet. They're both delusional and feed off each other
