A lot more don't. Also, I don't think Haskins actually gives you the best chance to win. Or even a remotely close chance.

Unless you're going to sign the coach to a long term deal, you can't start Haskins.

If you think the redskins have a chance to win this year, you’re delusional.

No, but you also can't expect them to simply tank. Particularly a HC who is probably on the hotseat.

I'd like to keep Gruden for a couple more years.

If you want Gruden to stick around, playing a rookie QB is his excuse for a crappy offense

See, I think it's the opposite. I think Allen will be feeling heat from Snyder and Gruden will be the sacrificial lamb. And then Haskins will have to learn a whole new offense.

Benching Haskins isn’t going to get them enough wins to save gruden’s job. The defense may be good, but the offense is going to be putrid no regardless of colt, keenum or Haskins

This.  It won't be about what's best for the team, Gruden, or Haskins. Allen will only be worrying about his own job and blowing smoke up Snyder's ass.

If it comes to Allen getting worries, I think Haskins starts. No one is teeming to fedex to watch another mediocre team hoping to finish 7-9, but maybe hope sells and they might come out to see a rookie

Highlight of the season

It gets less funny every year. I mean that on two levels, the state of the team, and the why your team sucks scree.

A lot of good points, though the writers can do better without resorting to dismissive, grade school potty phrases.  But then, I guess they are speaking to that audience...

No need to read the article. Just look at that picture of Danny and that tells the story.

One of their safeties got charged with assault. In a nice change of pace, he was charged of beating someone WITH his girlfriend, and not beating the girlfriend.

Nice

The family that bangs together hands together.
At least none of our players have been arrested for assaulting their domestic partner. #progress?

Rich:

Each year when the new schedule is released I painstakingly search and bookmark all of the web site/streaming app/radio stations of the ‘Skins opponents because I would rather jab rusted ice picks into both of my ears than listen to Larry freaking Michael.

Attendance woes will be fixed by winning, nothing else.

But they've done some shockingly dumb things on the non-football side that reduce their good will.

Not to nitpick but Briar Woods is further than 6 miles from Fed Ex.    I like Haskins and hope he's startin' about half way through the season.

He'll become the starter by around the time the Redskins have their bye week (week 10), IMO.

As you know, a lot depends on how the team is goin'.     If they're 7-3, he'll sit.    If they're .500 or less, he'll be startin'.

They were pondering his future on 106.7 as I did my walk about this morning.     Seemed pretty evenly split.    'sklns ought to see if Eli Rogers is available from the Steelers' cuts.    He's better than what they kept.

Rogers appeared in 30 games with the Steelers, catching 78 passes for 822 yards and four touchdowns. He also was used as a punt returner in the 2016-17 seasons.
