FM-106.7 is rebroadcasting the Capitals' 2018 playoff matches (as with the now-completed rebroadcasts of the Nats' 2019 post-season, these start at 18.30 each evening).

FM-106.7 has been carrying re-broadcasts of the Caps' 2018 playoff series...they did Cup Final Game 4 last night so tonight should be the big finale (these air at 18.30).

Wonder whether he'll get more of a league punishment than Sean Avery did for his infamous "sloppy seconds" comment. One of the screenshots of Leipsic's comments showed the word "kangaroo." A lot of people consider that to be the worst word there is.

He's done in the league. Avery was a good player so he got suspended, but Leipsic was riding the bench and is not worth the hassle, plus it's a different climate. He ripped his own teammtes, too. See ya loser.

I just got an e-mail from the Caps about season ticket balances. I haven't read it in detail yet, but it looks like they are applying the remainder of this season's balance to next year's season tickets as a credit. They still hope to finish the current season, so I guess this is a tacit acknowledgment that even if they play the games, they will not be able to have regular fan attendance.

His real problem, and the known but ignored league problem, is that he refers to "fresh powder" and follows with a nose emoji. Kuzy ain't the only one.

No surprise, Caps placed Leipsic on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract.

Looks like the NHL is moving forward with a plan for a 24 team playoff. Top four teams in each conference get a bye of sorts for runs one but would play some games against each other. Two hub cities. Not sure which ones are under consideration. NHLPA Board is voting on it.
