i definitely don’t want to win the presidents trophy. After what happened to Tampa last year that thing is an absolute curse.

Problem is that the defense is not playing well and this is reminding me a lot of the Bruce Boudreau years. Focus on d and not hanging holts or Sammy out to dry

Another great win on the road. Just giving up too many damn goals. Holtby had an absolute amazing save in ot. It saved and won the game at the same time

He is on pace right now for roughly 63 goals. If he scored 63 that would put him at 6th all time. Even if he just keeps his normal pace he will get about 50 which would put him in the top 8 which I absolutely expect him to do. He will finish in the top 3 for sure. I think he beats Gordie Howe on the pace he is on. The NHL has screwed Ovi on basically 2 years of productivity which I believe cost him about 70-80 goals.

Went to the game tonight and had a good time. Seats were two rows from the top, and a huge guy in front of me blocked a chunk of the view though.

Caps never seemed to be out of control.

I bought a seat on a whim for the last Saturday’s game to prep myself for the suite game. I think I’m in love. I feel like you white people have been hiding hockey from us Mexicans. This crap is awesome.

If you can, get there when the gates open an hour before start time.  At around 6:30 the teams go out for about a 15-20 minute skate around.  The ushers allow fans to walk down to the glass and on occasion the players will toss out pucks (usually to kids).   It's not terribly crowded and usually a fun chance to watch the players up close.

Heh. Our neighbors always joke that they don’t have to watch to know whether the Caps are winning or losing. They just listen for whether the yelling from our house is “clean” or “dirty.”
