I just programmed my Fios box to automatically turn to the Caps opener next Wednesday. The schedule works out perfectly. Nats lose the wild card game Tuesday night just in time to vacate the sports viewing slot for the Caps.
Djoos was blah all last season. Why is it surprising that they would waive him?
Damn, I've been out of the loop being so preoccupied with the Nationals. I need to catch up now that the Nats only have one game left and the Caps start tomorrow.
Caps waived Djoos, which is a little surprising. martin fehervary, a second round pick last year, has been a stud in camp apparently (he's only 19) and i wouldn't be surprised to see the team give him the first shot.
They have a salary cap issue this year...about $1.5MM IIRC. He took them to arbitration and won..."won' being subjective. At his age...they get relief of 2/3 of his salary...again, IIRC...
Copley waived. File under "huh??"
This is dreadful.
Keeeeeeeeeriste 1st period over yet?
Yes...but there's about 10 minutes left on the clock...
