Yes, that would be nice.
Mike Rizzo selected “3” players before Alonso was taken. 1) C. Kieboom. 2) Dane Dunning. 3) i’m too lazy to Google Rizzo’s 3rd choice.

You're not catching the Braves. Your only prayer is to sell out the farm and buy as much relief pitching as possible for the WC game.

Siroka goes to 10-1.  He’s going to challenge Max for CY this year.

He only pitched 50 innings last year due to shoulder problems. And also missed time this spring for the same reason. If they want to pitch him 200 innings this year and ruin him good for the Barves.

Maybe they will shut him down in September. I think the Nats did that once. :hysterical:

stretch him out.  There was some talk of them going to a six man rotation.

Yes, and the realist in me is rooting for the Braves (against the Brew Crew) tonight.  The Brewers are a real threat in the WC race.

This is probably the correct approach.  We need the WC contenders to lose.  The Braves seem to be too good to make up 7.5 games.

OK: It's all of the NL not just the East - but it's worth a watch. Not suitable for work!

Urinating Tree has his NL Mid Season report card.

Rockies: "I'd talk more about how terrible your pitching is but then those comments would be struck for a 3-run homer"

Guessing we’re nearing the end of the Gabe Kapler era in Philly:

“Jorge Castillo
@jorgecastillo
The Phillies were booed off the field in the 4th inning after giving up 6 runs and not realizing there were 3 outs. That was brutal.”

I watched the game on and off  ....  knew it was gonna be a bad night when the Dodgers' fans shouted down the Phils before the game started.    It only got worse after that.     Deep down, there's something satisfying about watching the Phillies playing at home being invaded by the opposing team's fans   ....   and gettin' their arses handed to 'em to boot.      Karma's a *****.

Now that it's pretty much a guaranteed that the Braves finish 125-37, maybe it's time to sell off pieces.

I think they will lose a game or two this season.

We tried but the Whiskey Rebellion was put down by the tyrant George Washington.
