The NL East is much-improved.  The Phillies obviously improved their lineup, although their pitching is still very questionable.  The Braves are counting heavily on a slew of talented but young and unproven starting pitchers.  I actually think they could revert back to 4th.  The Mets lineup is improved with Alonso, Cano, and McNeil added to the mix, and if they keep DeGrom, Thor, and Wheeler healthy...with a strong backend to the bullpen...they are a real threat.

The Marlins even have a nice stable of 4 young starting pitchers that look very promising.  They have a terrible lineup, but they aren't going to be easy to pile runs on.

I don't understand why it bothers so many people how a person chooses to wear their hair. That crap seems petty to me.

Good for Syndergaard.     If I may, "Grant Paulsen's voice and incessant whining annoy me more than having a popcorn kernel stuck in my teeth in a world devoid of toothpicks."

He'd block me after a couple of posts anyway.

For those of you who, unlike me, are social media savvy, help me out here and tell me why someone who is a member of the media would do this on a public forum? It doesn't seem professional and I'm trying to see if there's some angle to it that I can't perceive.

I want to cut his pony tail. And then shove it in Grant’s mouth.

Damn, what have we unleashed.    I must admit the pony tail makes the back of Thor's head look like a horse's ass but keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste Paulsen's voice could melt the ice cap.

I don't listen to Grant Paulsen but if he's a radio talk show host, it's about getting attention and ratings. Not that hard to figure out. It's not like he's a real journalist.

He's a radio host and also does one of the Caps' TV pre-game shows.    It's a voice you won't forget.   May be a contributor to the Atlantic as well.      I'm not sure about being a journalist but I think he sees himself as a "genius".

Except that if I'm not mistaken he has killed Stephen A Smith and at least one other ESPN personality for doing that very thing.

But I want to hear from people here who know their social media.

So basically he's resorting to tactics he has condemned in the past? If true, that's hilarious.

I just don't get why a goofy looking freak like him gets off saying crap like this. I wonder what he would say if he actually met Syndergaard. :lmao:

I don't think he meant any harm by it; he just got caught up in being a fan at the time.  It's rare that an athlete would snap back at a tweet so I'm pretty sure he didn't expect the reaction.  Lesson learned.

y the Slateman and Imref show.

Pretty sure he’s an Orioles fan trying to be relevant when they aren’t. While the Grant and Danny show is the only thing to provide relevant baseball reporting on 106.7, it is still basically the Slateman and Imref show.

I know my social media. It's about getting followers. The more controversy, the more followers, and the more perceived relevancy. Different people have different reasons for being on different platforms but Twitter is the most used by media because of its rapid fire nature.

I'm pretty sure he's a birds fan but he may not like it if people talked about his appearance.

Yeah, I'm going to chalk that up to getting up way too early on a Saturday after a night of strong rum. No clue what the hell I meant by that.
