The chop debate rages in Atlanta.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/10/10/braves-playoff-loss-was-karma-not-distributing-foam-tomahawks-say-georgia-gop-leaders/?fbclid=IwAR0GxmmDrNSRGiNLD8CExEnjXjmI8J55MVcq3nLbgBPfcOLfmHdVZ6e-hUQ

:smh:

They got their asses kicked plain and simple. Can’t believe the talking heads are blaming it on a lack of cheap foam imitation tomahawks. Unbelievable.

well, it's not talking heads and it is entirely believable.

A thread for discussion of who and why this was said is in Politics:

Let's simply focus on something positive: The Braves get a lot of rest and get to enjoy some fine weather on the golf course.

I dont know how I feel about this if Dusty and Bryce reunite:

https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/10/phillies-to-interview-dusty-baker.html

Oct. 13: With the Phillies beginning the interview process for their next manager, the team is set to interview Dusty Baker for the vacant position later this week, per Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune. Baker is currently serving as a special adviser to the Giants, who have granted Philadelphia permission to meet with Baker.

Interesting that Girardi will interview for the Phillies job but he immediately ruled out the Nats job a few years ago.
Wasn’t that right after the Yanks got rid of him. He hasn’t taken any job since then and is probably now ready to get back to it.

I like his work on the MLB Network studio show.
