if you can get a top prospect for Max, you take that deal in a heartbeat. Max isn't going to get any better and if we're reloading, now's the time to move him.
The Lerners are in denial though. They likely think the team can still compete. It’s also quite possible the team will move up to .500 later in the summer which will help confirm that for them.
