We need to give him the Joe Maddon treatment. 8 intentional walks.
I think I've hit the point of Harper fatigue. I think he's overrated. I think the Nats didn't give him a serious offer. I don't think Boras tried to seriously engage. The whole saga is one of money, ego, and a general sense of sports entitlement that's left me really unable to care that much about him coming back tonight, or facing him 18 other days.TLDR: I evicted him from my headspace a good two weeks ago.
do you really think Scherzer would do anything other than go after him? Even if nibbling to get him to get frustrated, even walking him, makes sense, there's no way Scherzer would do it.
How's the weather? On the radio they're talking like it might be iffy?

Ok, this is first game I'll actually be able to watch at home and I don't want it to be called off!!
Hopefully someone hacked the Nats Park signs and 70 busloads of wasted cromags are still headed south towards Richmond.
Hey!
They won't know it until they hit South of the Border
Someone ought to give Pedro a heads-up so he can grease the light poles...
Almost 3 pages and we're still an hour from first pitch. Light rain moving into Prince William County now.
