are we really disappointed with this game so far? Against one of the best pitchers n the league, 2 runs, over 50 pitches through 2.1?

"One of the best pitchers in the league"

Disregarding that statement, which is debatable. Shouldn't playoff-caliber teams hit those guys? Not to mention we have a faster team that should cause hell for a pitcher bad at holding runners like Syndergaard is.

We're also crap at the fundamentals so far, the thing we apparently worked on?

We got swept by the Mets last year so things like two bags striking out with a runner in scoring position is no big deal.

im going to try and be positive about this team until at least the all star break. Robles and Soto are an exciting pair. But Ryan is done, we need a better option at 1B next year

Yeah it’s just game 2 of 162...

Rendon historically has heavy feet the first 2 weeks. Robles has jitters

It’s early. Relax. We have all year to lose our crap about how they underachieved if they in fact do.

past three seasons Noah is 12th in fWAR, which I would say is one of the best pitchers in the league. And three runs through three innings is pretty solid.
