As usual, this thread will be for folks to claim upcoming GDTs. Who wants to get us started? No pressure...

If you want to post a Game Day Thread (GDT), you ought to, at the minimum, post the official lineups for both teams. You should be able to find daily lineups in several places:

Baseball Press numbers them and displays whether right handed or left handed (and they do NOT post them until they are confirmed):

Rotowire lists them. In 2019 they display "Confirmed Lineup" and "Expected Lineup" (an UNRELIABLE GUESS):

MLB now has a rule requiring when teams must post lineups, to try to preclude fraud in online betting. MLB is posting an UNRELIABLE GUESS in 2019 here, without telling anyone that the lineup has NOT been submitted yet:

We leave this one in the Clubhouse, stickied, for folks to claim threads?  Should the title be changed to "Game Day Thread Starter optional sign up" or something like that?  Or do we move it to GDT subforum?

I agree that would be a good idea.

A few times I have thought about trying my hand at a GDT, but I am intimidated by the responsibility of it. I would hate to commit to one and then be late for it or to mess it up in some other way.

Move it to GDT subforum. The post on where to find the lineups should be a separate Sticky thread there too. That's how The Chief set it up for several years.

Make it as easy as possible for someone to start a GDT on short notice, with the lineups posted (Skippy), and to track results of GDT makers.

We can then see when someone becomes obsessed with creating GDTs, so they can be sent to Nationals Therapy.

bluestreak also has a red streak going: He started the Opening Day GDT in 2018, which we won. The Chief is undefeated, but he's reportedly reading all the posts in the Uncensored: Politics threads, so does he have time to do it?:
