What's our bullpen ERA now? My goodness the insanity.
Bourque? Nerves, or just no control (threw only 12 strikes out of 29 pitches)? Nibbling like crazy with the off-speed stuff; doesn't appear he trusts those pitches.
And of those 12 strikes, at least half of those were pitches out of the strike-zone that Marlin hitters swung at. So i’m thinking it was more like 6 strikes out of 29 pitches. Bourque was CERTAINLY NERVOUS. He also came across as an unprofessional nut case!!!!!!!! WTH???!!! Geesh!!!
After 6 ER in 4 IP today, it'll be 126 ER in 158 1/3 innings, or 7.16. In what is a truly amazing stat, they've thrown the fewest innings of any major league bullpen but have given up the second-most runs.
(Image removed from quote.) Bourqued
This is truly amazing from a team with a 200 million dollar payroll.
Guerra pitched the 7th and 8th. Gave up one hit in the 7th and almost gave up some runs when Soto made a great catch in left. He looked bad in the 8th. He is not the answer to our BP woes. He will be gone before August.
Bourque walked six batters in over 20 IP in Double A. Let's give him a little more time before discarding him
11th blown save of the year and another loss by the BP in a Scherzer start. 2-10 now in games he has started.
The A's released Fernando Rodney. Come on down!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone give me one good reason why Barraclough is still on this team?
Because everyone else is just as bad if not worse...
