Williams and McGowin are probably DFA candidates this offseason anyways, and so is Sanchez and Difo is probably a non-tender guy. I could see them giving Crowe a look briefly but he's an offseason 40-man guy I think.

Difo is currently playing in the GCL, I assume he's rehabbing an injury.

Also MAT would be a good defensive replacement call-up this year, but 100% chance he's in a different organization in 2020.

not if we're in a playoff run.  He's been decent at Fresno, but not dominating enough to risk another .190 performance during a playoff stretch.

Two years ago, my dream lineup had Hamiltin and Turner leading off a game. I'd put in a waiver claim, just to keep him from the Mets. If Soto had played first base, this would be the mother of all no brainers

Mets are ahead of us in the waiver order because THEY HAVE LOST MORE GAMES AND ARE WORTHLESS AND WEAK!

I saw somebody post about Dee Snyder's new album in the what are you about to listen to thread.  Didn't the video to "We're not gonna take it have Lt. Niedemeier in it?

Couple of moves today:
- Scherzer reinstated, McGowin to Harrisburg.
- Dozier back from Paternity Leave, Adrian Sanchez to Harrisburg as well.

It sure did, and he gets blown out a window by the opening chords.

Can’t these guys do better family planning and have their kids in the offseason? Very selfish.

McGowin back I assume?  Strickland can probably use the rest.  He has been lights-out for us.

This is kinda funny to me:

Rizzo has struck gold with old guys getting DFA'd:

Rodney has a 3.66 ERA, 128 ERA+ for us in 19 inning
Parra has a .795 OPS and 98 OPS+ for us with 31 RBI in 68 G
Asdrubel Cabrera has a 1.025 OPS and 2 HR/16 RBI in 14 G for us

Even 33-year-old Javy Guerra has been solid for us overall, 94 ERA+.

Rodney was a total lottery ticket and his gas tank is probably running low. Parra filled an important position but no one expected him to change the clubhouse and produce. Cabrera has been a damn godsend considering Dozier missed some games. Hell, he's even played 1st base.

They really need Elias back and he needs to get better at getting lefties out. If that works out and Doo comes back better then they might have a solid pen going forward. Lots of ifs but...

Didn't Grace have an option left? I mean, DFA'ing him probably means he is done with the organization at this point.

Ageed Bubba.    He had to see the writing on the wall.    Someone mentioned how little he had been used recently.
