They said it at the start of the inning. They didn't expect Parra to be as bad as Rainey (who might as well be Rosenthal or Henry Rodriguez at this point) in locating the strike zone.

They said it a few times while Parra was pitching.    When they saw what a CF it was, they backed off a bit.   However, FP stuck to his "lighten the mood of the clubhouse" horse crap.

Curious to see if they walk back some of the bullcrap today.    Morse is even on their case.

Nats sign former Met TJ Rivera from independent ball. He was a decent bench infielder before needing TJ.  assigned to Harrisburg:

You would rather we carry a non-asset as the 25th man on the roster? Howie is on the DL and this guy is perfectly fine as a bench player. Dumpster diving is how you upgrade those last spots.

.235   / .318 / .393 / .711 is an asset?  Those are Zimm like numbers....

We only picked him up because he was free.

The player he is replacing, Adrian Sanchez, has a career OPS of .615 and had a .472 OPS this year. Incremental upgrades are still upgrades and I'd rather Rizzo dumpster dive to upgrade the roster where he can than sit idly by and do nothing.

Meh. I didn't hate him nor like him. He surely was better as a person/teammate than Rafael Sorryano, Papeldouche, Elijah Dumbass, Nyjer Moron, Boo Storen, and possibly even Royce. Honestly even though Yescobar hit better, I can't remember when Assdribble botched a throw and ruined a no-no like Yescobar did.

So this guy is gonna replace a guy on the bench that doesn't even play for the next 6 days until Howie comes back.  Championship!
