fixed.  he should never pitch in this organization again at any level.

The only way I want to see Ross in Nats Park again is with a paid admission.

I have not given up on Ross yet. It’s not like the organization has a lot of SP depth right now.

I agree with Slate which puts me in a distinct minority here. To be competitive we need between 2-5 RP’s. I see no chance that Blazek Sipp Grace Guerro Ventner finish the season on the 25 man.

Next year half the posters here will be pining for Miller and calling Dave and Rizzo idiots for cutting him loose.

Must not be recovering. When he was healthy, he was decent middle relief

So promising when he first came over from the Padres. Sad ending.

What's the post mortem? Failure to develop another pitch? Lost a few feet off the fastball? Something else?

He's 26 and has already had multiple serious shoulder issues plus Tommy John.  It's pretty much John Patterson syndrome.

Why are we getting rid of Blazek? Need to dump Grace

Is Strickland headed for rehab action or straight tighten active roster?

He pitched against the Tigers on Monday, so I dont know why he'd be going out on a rehab assignment

they're supposed to be doing a med exam on him before the trade becomes final so I could see him going back on the il.

Rizzo brought up Crowe in an interview over the 5th starter. I think Crowe gets the start in SF. Fresno is close. won't cost much.

Justin Miller outright to the minors per the Nats transactions page.
