Last year I opted out of doing the codes because I was unimpressed with the prizes in 2017. But so far this year I've gotten a couple really cool events.

No...you just add their account number and number of points to send to a non-partner...

I was able to get the points I needed. Thanks to those who offered. And of course, then I couldn't get the number of tickets I wanted on the day I wanted, because of mystery errors on the web site, so that's neat.

To transfer points:
(this is on the regular browser version of the site--haven't tried it on the mobile site)
on the main page, click the arrow in the black bar with your name on it
click Points Management on the right
scroll down to "Transfer to Non-Partner"
