I've heard that an ankle sprain is sometimes worse than a break.
Is Dozier hurt? Not in the lineup again
- Roenis Elías has not progressed to throwing off the mound yet. The Nationals are working to build up strength in his hamstring, which has become the operative way of saying a pitcher is tossing and there is not a set timetable for a return.
When's the big Scherzer sim game?
https://www.masnsports.com/byron-kerr/2019/08/martinez-updates-scherzer-zimmerman-dozier-and-robles.htmlZim is taking full BP. He's going to be doing some running. So I'm guessing he'll be back by the end of August.
Max came out of the sim game good. Funny, I had a few posters on here delcaring him out for the season.
It was today...Soto, Howie and Zimm faced him. That's all I know about it...
Yeah, but the true test will be how he feels tomorrow, since the reason he went on the IL is because he was sore the day or two after his outing.
Really feel like they should give him at least one rehab start. Something like 65 pitches . . .
36 pitches in a non game.
Why? He's not been out that long. He's the best pitcher in the game. I'd rather throw him for 5 innings with a little rust than anybody else we have.
The last time he said he was fine he had to go back on the IL
So why do you want him pitching in the minors...so he would get hurt there instead?
Lol, so he cant pitch at all?I want him to throw more than 36 pitches before determining if he's ready to go. Especially since hes been hurt since July 6
Again, he's the best pitcher in the game. He's only been out a month. Every game is super important. A rehab game is silly.
