Good decision. 9 hits in 6 innings, and you leave him in. it was a miracle he got the DP to end the 6th.

Well, in defense of leaving him in - Simon was facing the bottom of the order - Penny jacking that ball over Kearn's head was unexpected ... here we go ... bases juiced and here comes Winston ... tough spot ... let's see what he can do ...

Pierre has 9 total bases, and should have 10, in 4 at bats.

I would appreciate it if you refrained from personal attacks ... my son and I enjoy these game day threads (he posts sometimes) but he's only 13 so I'd appreciate if you didn't call people retards ... or names at all if that's ok ... thanks

if i were, the score would be 2-0 and we would be batting right now in the bottom of the 7th.

1. How do you know what the score would be?

2. Even if that we true, we'd probably lose games later in the year because of your management of the bullpen earlier on.

and we would still lose tonight and definitely the next 2 games..  Our bullpen needs all the rest it can possibly get, especially with our questionable starting pitchers.  WTF was that from Zimmerman

If they let Penny stay in for the next inning we may have a chance...but we need to hold them to 3 runs in the meantime.

I'm holding on to hope though. I think the next 2 innings are ours.

ummm nevermind.... :?

You mean Zimmerman.. His throw was god awful.  Schneider was standing on home plate but the ball wasn't even remotely close.

I don't know why Manny would try to squeeze another inning out for Simontacchi.  He hasn't pitched into the 7th inning since he's been up. Why try to "experiment" in a close game?

I've had sportfan on ignore for weeks ... I think you're an excellent poster and I hardly blasted you .. I'm just asking you not to call people names ... that's all .. it's your choice of course what you post and what you don't.
