What a joke of a franchise when Josh Rosen was available.

$18 million on a one year deal. With a chance to use this year to  fill other holes or positionthemselves for the future, they chose neither

Article said $3.5M and a 7th rounder in 2020.

Nonetheless, it's still a waste of money.  They need to stick with what they have, win 2 games, and pick 1st in 2020.

this isn't a terrible deal for the Redskins, it won't change much though "Projections from Stephen Oh of SportsLine give the Redskins a 13.2 percent chance of making the playoffs with Keenum and an 11.8 percent chance with McCoy."

Rosen would have cost them a lot more.

Rosen could also give them an option in the future.

Possibly, IIRC there were some significant questions about his ability to stay healthy and adjust to the big league game.

Why not just sign Foles then?

I don't think they can afford him.

Can someone tell me what the Steelers were thinking? They only get a 3rd and a 5th round pick and have the largest amount of dead money on their roster ever.

Basically on balance they traded Cooper for Brown And a first round pick and gave up a third and a fifth.

Second straight year the Pats left tackle leaves for free agency when he gets a record contract for an O lineman.  Just hoping Trent doesn't get content (and fat) now that he's not playing for a contract.  I really thought he was awesome the last couple of months.

Meanwhile, looks like Matt Patricia is going to live or die with ex-Pats.  Justin Coleman for 4 years, $36MM?

The Browns have traded for Giants WR Odell Beckham, sources say. The deal is done.

Good move for the Giants.  The onion had a headline today saying that the Giants were going to draft a QB to mentor Eli.
