Not that Kraft is involved but there's a report of a human trafficking investigation.

They always use the bogeyman of human trafficking when they make prostitution arrests to justify wasting resources on stopping willing adults from having transactional sex.

I take it a little more seriously than that.    Maybe there's human trafficking.   I understand your point though.

Does this mean Kraft gets suspended and fined under the personal conduct policy?

He should but  ....  Imagine the owners sittin' around watchin' the video.     :)

I take human trafficking very seriously. And I’m not denying it happens way too frequently. I just don’t always the police when they invoke it.

I think we agree.    :)      This whole story has an aroma to it.    Supposedly 9 locations are under investigation and people like Kraft frequent them?      I'm sure (mindfact) somebody recommended the place and due diligence was done.     Old Bob didn't just walk in off the street after gettin' some grub at the local 7-11.

I know. I just realized I probably needed to come out more strongly against trafficking... ;)

If he's fined by the league, it'll be meaningful and consistent with prior incidences.  I'm predicting $35K.

But seriously, I don't think they can dock him a draft choice.  If he can't sit in the booth for a few games, Jonathan and his other son will be there.

from the police report "many came from China on temporary work visas, indebted to the the brokers who helped them reach America, but believing legitimate jobs awaited them."

seems like a text book example of trafficking. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up getting forced to sell

It sounds like the place was under investigation for trafficking.  Allegations that at least some of the women are Chinese nationals that are not allowed to leave the premises.  That's probably what they were looking at, and they picked up the johns when they busted the place.  As for what did he know and when did he know it, it's a legit question.

What's kind of sad is the missus and I rode past a new day spa location in E. Loudoun yesterday and my first thought was, "Wonder what goes on in there?"

I can't believe the NFL will crack down on him when they wink at other stuff.  I also can't believe the NFL will force a sale of one its most valuable properties because of the damage it'll do to the price of teams.  If they force him to turn the team over to Jonathan, it'll be a classic Goodell.

you may be right.  Maybe I'm too cynical about the NFL and justice will prevail.

If this ends up being a trafficking case, that's a really bad look for the NFL. If the video gets out, that ratchets up the embarrassment level pretty high

My partner and I got two Thai massages here. We compared after though, and he got a significantly different massage than I did, for the same price. Mine was more Swedish massage with some stretches thrown in, whereas his masseuse was stepping on his back the whole time. I think he ultimately got the “real” thai massage, and I got a hybrid Swedish massage that they just charged extra for.

Trump? I partially joke, but it kinda makes sense.
