A free kick for Carolina--haven't seen one of those in years.

The kicker messed that up. He should have taken more of a run-up, like if he were kicking off. The other team can't block the kick because they have to stay ten yards away. Instead, he treated it like a normal field goal attempt.

the cowboys have beaten the dolphins, the giants and the redskins. those teams have a combined 3 wins and 2 of those wins were because those awful teams played each other and someone had to win. plus, the giants got their other win in a game where the bucs' kicker missed a chip shot walkoff FG. they lost to the packers at home, the saints without Brees and to the winless jets

The NFC LEAST division. I didn’t see the Eagles game yesterday but they have a brutal schedule upcoming. Cowgirls and Bulls on the road. Then the Bears, Patriots and Seahawks at home. They badly need to win this week after yesterday’s flop.

The Cowgirls are in a pickle long term. Prescott is not that good but they probably need to sign him to big money since they have no alternative.

The current cba gives teams a great window while qbs are still on rookie deals- once that closes, building a balanced team gets a lot harder- the cowboys are pretty screwed given the other large deals they have

And the Jets hadn't beaten anyone and their QB was out the last 4 weeks with mono, seemed like just the kind of team the Cowboys could win against but alas, they weren't even THAT good.  Jason Garrett is a complete joke as a head coach, forget Dak if I were a Cowboys fan I'd be more worried about seeing that uninspiring ginger on the sidelines for years to come.

I know a guy who just picks up whatever defense is playing the Jets for his fantasy team. He's screwed now.

If I'm the Chiefs, I keep him out a lot longer than three games just to be safe.  Might as well punt on this season since the Patriots are going to coast to another AFC title game.  And if something takes them down, the Chiefs are still probably going to win the AFC West anyway, even if Mahomes misses 5-6 games instead of just 3.
