Trevor Rosenthal promoted to the Tigers.  They must be desperate for an arm.  In his minor league stint with them he's allowed 6 runs on 8 hits, with 6 walks, in 5 1/3rd.

I'd trade him for Grace today.    :mg:

Rosenthal obviously has some major yips.   I think to an interview on MASN when he got called back up from rehabbing, and he was talking about how he pitches fine in practice, but just can't do it in the game.  Sounds like something a crappy rec golfer or little league pitcher would say.   I don't see how there is any way he is going to get himself out of it without spending some serious time far away from the major league spotlight or maybe brings a flask to the mound.  At this point, he can't even pitch out of an inning of mop up duty unless it is in a league with a slaughter rule.

I was thinking last night we could have used him, perfect spot for him to pitch against Baltimore with a big lead.

Tigers DFA Rosenthal

“With the Tigers, Rosenthal yielded seven runs and issued 11 walks against 12 strikeouts. He also hit a batter and uncorked four wild pitches”

Tonight I saw Jose Lobaton play as the starting catcher for the Oklahoma City Dodgers. He went 1-for-4. He's hitting .230ish.

The White Sox have 13 pitchers.  Five are former Nats, including 3 of the 5 starters.
