I have to publicaly confess my new love for the Washington Nationals. You all know I’ve been a Cubs fan for years. But while I was with Adam we watched so much baseball on TV and when he could, we went to live games,  that I’ve really gotten to know this team. Long before they made the Wildcard game I was rooting for them. I am excited about their success and I’ll be glued to the playoff games in the coming weeks. Adam and I even named his new Ficus tree after Juan Soto lol.

If these playoff games continue the level of performances, with close scores and great pitching or hitting, it's going to be hard not to quietly root for the another MLB team besides one's longtime favorite.  Some Barves & Mets fans I know are now rooting hard for the Nets.
