I don't have the time or inclination to go over this yet again but here are the benefits
https://www.mlb.com/nationals/tickets/season-tickets/plan-options

I especially like getting tangible benefits like having good seats consistently, 20% (next year 30%!) discount at the park, dedicated e-cash lines, postseason and big game access, ability to exchange tickets, special events (Hot Stove event, SPH day, etc), RCR points that I exchange for experiences, games and gifts that I share with friends/family, etc.

The intangible benefit is that it encourages me to go to games.

The RCR points aren't a SPH benefit, anyone can use them. The only benefit I see is post season access and I'm wondering if the 15% drop in demand for regular season tickets will extend to the playoffs.

You get a boatload of RCR points if you're a season ticket holder. If the other benefits don't work for you, that's fine, but don't pretend that they don't exist and are a real value to other people.

I got a boat load just entering codes in my account and my parents. Next year I might add my brother.

Seems like they've forgotten completely about the season plan holder gift for this year. The season's almost over.

To be fair they are busy prepping for the playoffs which was totally unexpected.

And I'm not surprised that they have a hard time doing two things at once.

Anyone else buy a post season strip? If so, have they shown up in your account yet or when do they show up?

Bought the postseason strips but they have not shown up yet. I can't recall when they've show up in previous years. But they also send printed fancy tickets for postseason.

IIRC, they asked for a mailing address for the extra strips, so I'm expecting a package.

Finally announced the season plan holder gift. It’s a battery pack to charge your phone. It’s a good idea. Although I have like 6 of these.

I also am selling my tix and bought some from the Nats to get the 15 dollar credit.

How do you pick those up? I have a bunch but can always use more. I keep them all charged up for when I go primitive/disbursed camping.

Here’s how to pick up your gift:

1.Log into your Access Account
2.Click on Red Carpet Rewards > Marketplace
3.Find 2019 NATS PLUS Member Gift
4.Select the item and Checkout
5. Redeem at the Red Carpet Rewards Center*

A thread on Reddit has a number of people saying that the chargers are dollar store quality.

Got an email saying they are giving out 15-year pins to charter SPH that recognize 2020 as the 15th year. Not a big deal with the pins but maybe they will do some special stuff like they did with 10 year holders in 2015.

That would certainly be nice.  So far all I've received for being a 15-year SPH is a $5 increase in my cost per ticket in 2020!

Ugh, I really want a strip, my only regret for giving up my plan.

But I'm going to three games this week and can't go today so I set my price on StubHub at 25% of what I paid. This I won't miss.

I'm trying to figure out if the club has credited our SPH accounts for the unused postseason tickets from the strips we purchased.

They owe us for:
1 Tiebreaker
1 NLDS
2 NLCS
1 WS game

Anyone know where to see if this amount has been credited or not? The accounting info is not good on My Tickets.

I did get credited for the unplayed games, but I've never been able to find any accounting of it anywhere.  I think you just have to recreate the math.  I compared the cost for the unplayed games with the remaining balance on my season tix for next year and it is was done correctly.  I agree it would be a lot better and more reassuring if we could actually see all the charges/credits etc laid out clearly somewhere.

I know some of my regular monthly payments for 10/15 and 11/15 were partials rather the full amount. I assume the credit flowed through then.

They just didn't start charging me and told me I would be needing to start making payments until february.
