There's that but what does when it was on have to do with my perception of his age?       None of my perceptions are based on facts anyway.     :)

He’s not famous, and I doubt any of you have met him, but you talk about a towering figure to me.....

My father died at 9:30 tonight and I was sitting next to him at the time.

I was lucky enough to be with my dad when he passed last year, it is something you will be so thankful for in the time to come. Prayers for you and your family tonight.

Hearts.  I dread the day and hope I have the chance to be there too.  Be well.

Today is the anniversary of my father's death. He died when I was 8.

Sorry Hoo.  It's only been a few months since my Dad passed, but the dreams and memories are already giving my comfort.  I hope with time the same comes true for you.

Perhaps, but there is not doubt in my mind that eight is a terrible age to lose one's father.

I worked for Perot Systems for 10 years.  He was an amazing man, a charismatic leader who had integrity and adhered to simple, but sound principles.

That was the last New Beetle. I think the last original Beetle was in... 2000? 2003? Something like that.

My Dad just reached 90 last week, only 2 left now of 7, he being one of the 2.  We are lucky and blessed that he has had this much of a life to live.
