The Council has a final vote tomorrow so Fan Duel and Draft Kings are pushing for the NJ style open competition over Intralot being given a monopoly.

This vote was for mobile betting only, the teams plans to open sportsbooks were not at issue. Evans refused to recuse himself despite being under FBI investigation for dealing with the same lobbyist hired by Intralot, the majority of the Council backed him. Turns out that Intralot has deals with a number of local companies who have ties to fund raisers for a number of Council members. Intralot won 7-5.
