Yesterday on MLB radio, they were talking about Manny's deal. I guess it's common knowledge that Manny's agent and Boras have what they termed a "rivalry" and speculated that Boras will release a statement about an hour before Manny's introductory presser announcing a deal in principle between Harper and someone. Basically just to be a D, which if it happens like that likely means it was about the agents all along.

I'm trying to figure out why we're getting a crappy French sports car. Of all countries, France is probably the last on the list of sports cars I'd want.

I’d take that over Russia, Mexico, Brazil, probably South Korea- but yea of the countries that make sports cars, they’re pretty low

France has made some decent sports cars in the past (sure nothing like the US, Japan, Germany, Italy, or even the UK) but they were few and far between. That Alpine though, it's a beauty of a car.

Hell, for any motorheads out there interested in foreign/european cars, I'd still take a Renault Cliosport V6 to this day. Mid engined hatchback? YES.

Buggatti was formed in a German city by an Italian. It's about as French as Napoleon was. It's currently owned by the Germans.

Weird history. The original factory was Molsheim which is in modern France but was a German city when Ettore Bugatti (as you said, an Italian) started the company. Then Romano Artioli (another Italian) bought the name and revived the company in 1987 and opened a factory in Modena, Italy. Once his operations ceased, VW/Audi group bought the company in 1998 and returned production to Molsheim.

Fun fact, Romano Artioli also owned Lotus at the time he owned Bugatti and named the Elise after his granddaughter. That girl now owns an original Elise (and is quite the looker) and goes on many Lotus drive tours throughout Europe.
