Depends on how many teams are willing to undercut the idea. But I doubt Arizona is thinking they will get top prospects while not eating any salary. We seem willing to give someone 30 million this year. Let it be pitching.
Greinke is 35. He will hit the wall soon. Pass.
And you are done with his contract after 3. If you can get Corbin or keuchel for only 3 years then ok. But that seems unlikely.
Corbin is 29. And Keuchel is 30. So if you give them five year contracts at the end they will still be younger or as young as Greinke is now. Also you don’t have to give up anyone.
I think Keimboom is enough to get them to eat 10 million a year
Giancarlo Stanton career K%: 28%Bryce Harper: 21%
Bryce's strikeout percent during this past year was 169/550, which is over 30%
Isn’t it BB divided by plate appearances? He had 695 of those.
Huh ? SO percent doesn't use a BB stat. I thought it was SO divided by official AB
Whatever the formula, BH has a lot of holes in that swing and still doesn't hit breaking balls and slow stuff very well.

Not going to the Yankees looking like that.
