If Harper does stay, it might not be easy to "flip" Eaton because other teams know he'd be excess baggage here.  He's got market value, but probably not as much as we want.  Eaton's starting to be perceived as injury prone...

...the upside hopefully is many years of additional revenue being generated.  And, if the Lerners put that revenue all back into the business, then it can be a good long term investment.  I just hope they don't go over $330mm for 10.


Honestly, I dont think so. It's highly likely that whatever deal brings him back here will have an opt out. Likely an early one. They could roll another year with Harper in CF. Between him and Eaton's injury histories,  Robles will be playing everyday by June
