That's what I thought too, but his career splits are very interesting in that regard. Overall, he's actually below his career averages (.238 with a .775 OPS against the Nats; .260 and .811 overall).
What's both interesting and good is that our eye test is accurate: he's killed it at Nats Park (.266 but with an .886 OPS and 7 HR in 123 PAs, which isn't a tiny sample), which is probably why Nats fans who go to games think of him as a Nats killer. If he sees the ball that well consistently there, there's some opportunity.

Dude hit more than 40 points under his previous career average and he's only 30. That's a very obvious bounceback candidate (and his OPS+ was actually better than Adams last year).
