Maybe they're happy.    Imagine that.

Oh for sure good for him but it is kind of an odd thing, it's like she's standing on something in order to reach the cake? But why have the cake up so high that she has to stand on something to reach it? We're all just confused :lol:

OK, so she was a gymnast in college (so, not 7' tall) and Trea is listed at 6'1", so they probably had her on a stool to cut the cake but why is it so high up in the first place?!

Apparently, no one told him the disaster that ensues when you get married as a National

If anyone wants to send the Turners a belated wedding gift they are registered here;

Is that the stool she had to stand on to cut the cake? I'm so confused. :confused:

Zuck notes that Trea may be our team MVP.  We're 10 games over .500 in games he's played, 5 games under in games he's missed.

Or that his replacement may be our team LVP.

Turner is the 3rd player in MLB history to hit for multiple cycles against the same team. Fred Clarke of the Pirates in 1901 and 1903 against the Reds and Christian Yelich against the Reds twice last year.

It was the 10th cycle against the Rockies, but the first outside of Coors Field.

Given that Turner is young I bet he does it again. The career record is three. John Reilly, Bob Meusel, Babe Herman, and Adrián Beltré are the only four players to hit for the cycle three times in their Major League Baseball careers.

Yeah but Lerners are cheap so he'll get his third as a Met.

You are horrible at trolling. You gotta be more subtle, man.

Seeing as how he's our one decent player who doesn't have Boras as an agent, I wonder if we see a league typical 6-7 year deal this offseason that buys out some arb years.

we've got until 2023 to extend him.  No need to worry about it now.

That refrain always sounds logical right up until it is too late. The nats can’t ever expect to have more leverage than today. Right now, they can offer him life changing money, a couple more trips through arbitration, and he has less and less to worry about in terms of long term financial stability

Yep, agreed. And the trend around the league is to do deals like this.  We never get the chance, because Boras doesn't go for those kind of deals.

Short interview on 106.7.    Nothing new   ....   SOS  DWD.     They did talk about Rendon (since Trea and Ant'ny are friends) but it was softball stuff.

I didn't see this until I got home, but Turner definitely thought that he was out on that fly ball. The look on his face is pretty funny given the outcome.
