I believe that as long as Scherzer wins the CY FP will be satisfied, the postseason be damned.

deGrom is pretty damn good.    We roamed the stadium and most of the time we hit a viewing spot, he was spot on.    Made a particularly nice defensive play on a dribbler down the 1st base line  ....   scooped it up and made the 1UA at first.    I knew his W-L record was so-so but man, he can pitch.    Watched the board  ...  hit 97 regularly and his ERA fluctuated around 1.78.

He is 3 years younger than Scherzer. They appear to be very similar but I believe, overall, Scherzer has been better. This question is for everyone except for VaRK, if Scherzer was the 3 years younger (that way there is no age advantage) who would you take going forward? I think I would personally go with Scherzer but it's a tough choice.
