Scherzer is probably hoping that striking out 300 will get him over the top in CY voting

That was a pointless ovation he got.

Ft. Meade used to have dozens of them.

Used to do fire guard.     Sit on the fire escape and smoke.    :)

It appears the Nats dont like hitting vs Vargas. Very odd since he has a 6.47 era.

I take back what I've said about Robles. Hes 100% ready to be an every day player for the Washington Nationals.

Where is that?

The pool/ballfield across the street from Capitol Skyline.

Not sure I've ever seen it.    We usually sneak in and out on "I" ST, SW.

Tomorrow.

They're "hitting" like they're facing him tonight.

This offense is severely flawed. Getting shutout by Vargas once can be chalked up as a bad day at the office. Twice? Unacceptable. No adjustments made. Same terrible swings.

The Nats are too busy looking to be walked and are watching pitches right down the middle.

I haven't been watching closely.  Got home just in time to see Max give up his obligatory home run(s).

They're "hitting" like they're facing him tonight.

They’re not attacking early in the count when he’s serving it up and they’re swinging and missing at the crap later in the count.

Jinxed by YNOT Edition #22, Question #4:
After getting shut out (zero points) in 3 consecutive games, the Nationals have scored runs in the last 22 games. In how many games, including none, will the Nationals get shut out in these 7 home games?
 :pimp:

8 entries said "none." But Ali the Baseball Cat said 4 shutouts...
