A 4-0 lead vs the Marlins should be safe. Not with this group of misfits. Stinks having pitchers that can’t go more than 5 innings.

Just spent the last 2 hours getting water out of the basement.  Was 4-0, now 5-5 and bases loaded?  What a freaking night  >:(

Now we’ve reached the point where the Nats go quietly into the night.

Don't gentle into that good night. Rage. Rage against the dying of the light.

Yep.  According to my rain gauge we got over 4 inches of rain in about an hours time, which is never good.  Even worse when the ground is already supersaturated.

Anybody know why Miller couldn’t pitch another inning? HE THREW 8 PITCHES!

Davey has single handedly cost the Nats 5-7 games this year.

And Glover threw 30+. Must've been 20+ before he recorded an out. Must be similar to the batter that goes 5/5 gets the next day off.

I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for the AC fan making funny noises.  Went downstairs to check it out and was greeted with a glorious surprise.  Hope you're drier than me!

Oh yeah...we are about 15 feet above normal creek level, so I'll expect to see the neighbors floating by before we ever flood.  I do worry about water seeping in the crawl space though...like you say, the ground is super-saturated...

Imagine how bad the Nats would be if the Marlins never had that firesale. Easily would be in 4th place.

I’d like to see what a Ryan Zimmerman-less Nationals team would look like. We’re stuck with this guy

After my basement flooded I got a water alarm. Unfortunately I found out the alarm worked. Didn't even realize what that high pitched siren sound was at first. After the 2nd time I had a french drain installed. Been 3 years. So far so good.
