I was listening to Pollin and Loverro this morning.    Writer was on talkin' about the USFL.    I remember headin' out to RFK to watch the Federals and Craig James.     The other guy in that SMU backfield wasn't bad either.

I was listening to Pollin and Loverro this morning.    Writer was on talkin' about the USFL.    I remember headin' out to RFK to watch the Federals and Craig James.     The other guy in that SMU backfield wasn't bad either.     

I remember playing a game of football on the streets with all the neighborhood kids and right before kickoff one of the kids' fathers called in his son to watch the Federals so we all ran to our houses to catch the game. By halftime the street game had resumed.

The hi-lite of goin' to Federals' games for me was watchin' Mike Rozier for the Pittsburgh team.    Irving Fryar was there to see his old Nebraska team mate.    At another game, I got to chat with Senator Alan Cranston.

I still have my Federals' cap.
