He can check out any time he likes.
But he can't ever leave.

He can check out any time he wants.
But he can't ever leave.

I remember watching when Hotel California won the Grammy, and Andy Williams was the presenter.  They were not there to accept, and, in what seemed like a rare, classless moment for him, he announced the winner as: "The Eagles?"

Not sure why but I was never an Andy Williams fan.    What year was that?    '75, '76?

Googled it:    Hotel California was released as a single in February '77.

The chords seem to have been lifted from a '69 song by Jethro Tull...I forget the name...but the entire lead-in is the same...

Making excuses for Harper. He said that Harper is like a bench player that plays every day because he gets walked so much.

Just a reminder to anyone who believes Rizzo is without fault that the dude pitching for Philly today (a useful back of rotation starter) is what Rizzo traded for Papelbon.  Meanwhile, the Nats have 20 starts worth of Fedde/Milone/Rodriguez/Voth.
