Cat looks like Clippard with the glasses.    Plus, he's tall and thin.

He would need to take about 10 minutes between pitches to pull it off.

I really doubt it was Russell's call to cover. Or do manager's let their players make that call? I know I've seen the mouth open signal in the past between the 2B and SS.

Big boyz comin' up.

OT   I roam around durin' the game with my headphones on.    If something exciting happens, I check it out.    During the commercials, I got no idea who the sponsor is.    In the day, ya knew Ourisman Chevrolet, some of the food vendors, etc.    Now, I gotta look to see what they're sellin'.

Remember FP pontificating last night about how wrong people were for saying that Harper cost himself money? He said that given time the numbers would be there by the end of the season. I guess $40 million doesn't get you what it used to.

He predicted he'd finish at .270/.280 right after the All Star break...then a few weeks later when Royce was on a hot streak, he "reminded" everyone that he predicted he'd finish at .260/.270.

I imagine he'll revise that to .250/.260 before long with Royce at .249 before today...or just hope that everyone forgets just what a dumbass he is...

I wonder how Harper drove in nearly a hundred runs without being able to make contact.

I predicted Harper would have around 40 homers and a hundred RBI. I hope you all don’t remind me about that.

1.5 WAR. Is that worth $30 million per year?

Dave Kingman. His career 162 game average is 37 HRs and 101 RBIs. Obviously should be in the Hall.

Judge his entire career to date. And more importantly what you think he will do in the future.  And I have no idea how they calculate WAR so I can’t answer your question.

I don’t think anyone is giving him that much.

I think he will sign for $25-30M. Anything more than that and he’s gone.
