The closest red line station, yikes. Probably Union Station? Seems like a long walk. We've taken the Circulator bus there before and after a game, but that's worse than walking to Cap South and transferring at Metro Center.Might try walkng it some day when the weather's nice and it's not dark.Edit: 35 minutes according to Google Maps. Cap South is 18, so it's about the same distance again.
When I subway in, I do every thing I can to avoid transfer stations. I'll walk to Capitol South to avoid L'Enfant.
You can do it.
I have a co-worker that lives in PG. He drives in on the GW Parkway, parks in the Metro garage at Anacostia, and takes Metro for one stop. The station is an elevator ride from the garage, apparently.
Mrs. GburgNatsFan doesn't wear out running shoes like I do.
They changed the Circulator route. There’s no longer service to Union Staion - the route now runs between Eastern Market and L’Enfant Plaza.
Neighbor and I are thinkin' about the ferry from Alexandria.
I looked that that as well, but it's pretty 'spensive for more than a single...costs the same as parking in the Geico Garage if you have 2 or more people...
We'd do it for the adventure (something different). I don't think it would be a regular thing.
What do you mean there's no longer service to Union Station? Are you talking about the north-south routes to Union?
The Eastern Market-L’Enfant route replaced the Union Station-Navy Yard route.
These MLB azzhats never should have started this game in all this rain. Just begging for a Sharknado...(Image removed from quote.)
I just dont see how they can find weather to play a double header this weekend
This might be the key to them finishing above 500...just don't play the entire schedule...
There's a DC team in the finals and the Mets and Phillies are on the big screen.
