Try Time is Tight with the bass run.

Cool. I'll give Uptight a listen after I'm done with HHH.

Ah.    I had posted it for Natsinpwc earlier.    I stumbled onto MASN while checking on the rain delay.    Anybody hear anything about the delay?

Those Cubs fans will surely ride the rain out.

Based on the radar, the game should resume around 11:00 PM.  Joe Ross will likely be done for the night.  Looks good so far, but not enough innings to really gauge anything at this point.

They’d need to take off the tarp and start prepping the field within the next 5-10 minutes for a 10:40 start. Rain has let up but it’s still steady with occasional lightning. I’m afraid they’re going to call the game after it stops raining and the fans get excited for it to restart.

Subway considerations   ....   that would really piss me off.

Yeah, too bad he didn't get to go a few more innings.

There's only about an hour and 15 minutes until Metro service shuts down. After that, it's taxis and ride sharing. The fact Metro is so freaked up they can't keep the service open until late into the evening, especially on Fridays and the weekend, is frustrating.

We're always torn about Metro. It saves us an hour coming in from the distant Moco suburbs, but an hour back on the way out late at night, when you just don't feel like giving up the time.

HA!  I laugh at your "hour."   :D

Got back home today at 1:30am from yesterday's game...

They’re open til 1 tonight. You got a couple hours before service starts winding down.

It's the effing transfer. If you don't hit Gallery Place just right, you wait a half hour for a Red Line train. No bueno.

And quit nagging. You're retired.  You can sleep in. :couch:

When I subway in, I do every thing I can to avoid transfer stations.   I'll walk to Capitol South to avoid L'Enfant.

The closest red line station, yikes. Probably Union Station? Seems like a long walk. We've taken the Circulator bus there before and after a game, but that's worse than walking to Cap South and transferring at Metro Center.

Might try walkng it some day when the weather's nice and it's not dark.

Edit: 35 minutes according to Google Maps. Cap South is 18, so it's about the same distance again.

Whoops.

I thought Metro was open until 11:30 p.m. today. I dealt with that last night.
