Remember when we thought Turner was going to steal 50+ bases?

I can't put my finger on it but I don't like turner.

They paid a number of Cards fans to wear them so it LOOKS like there's more Nats fans than normal.

when it finally comes out that Soto is not 19 all these stat comparisons are going to feel stupid

Well, Barves broadcaster, a guy hitting .300, with an OBP over .400 and slugging .500 in a season he began with zero experience above Hagerstown is doing a great job whether he's 12, 19, or 35.  He's a huge find and talent even if he's 3 years older than his listed age, and as far as I can tell, there's absolutely no evidence of that other than that (1) he's Dominican and (2) he's really, really good at hitting a baseball.   That's not really evidence to me.

Why is it whenever some random team calls up some fringe prospect in September we spread'em like Kermie, but when we do it it's the pitcher that spreads it like Kermie?

He looks like a closet Cardinals fan.   Or Jared Kushner.   Or both.

I’m getting tired of Sgt. Baker and his leaky water heater.

Because he looks like a pompous, entitled dickler.  If he hit .300 and stole 60 bases, I could handle that.

If they get rid of FP in the offseason, this all will have been worth it...

I'd be very happy if they put him, Carp, and a bear in a room for 3 days and whoever comes out alive gets to be the TV voice or voices of the 2019 Nats.
