Go Ajax!  That would be a fun final.

Ajax is up one away goal, correct? That's tough for the Spurs. I like both these teams though.

Yep.  No matter what, no La Liga or Serie A teams in the final.  When did that last happen??  And it's in Madrid of course  :P

I think maybe when Chelsea beat Bayern? And didn't Bayern and Dortmund have a final? I am getting my years confused?

There's a Spurs yard banner up the street.    Kid's (young teacher) from NY.    We talked about Buffalo but that was before the banner.    Gotta find out about that connection.

You're right.  I had to listen to that Bayern/Dortmund one on the radio in Spanish, which I understood a tiny bit of but still enjoyed enormously.

Kane is from Buffalo.  Well, a Kane anyways.

Two crazy games.  Right up there with Belgium/Japan in the last WC.

Tough one for me coming up. John Henry owns Liverpool but Tottenham fans are the Yiddos.

Must have been a bunch of Israeli flags at Ajax- Tottenham today.

Man City had a scare, but it looks like they will hold on to win the Premiership by one point.

Arsenal are crapting the bed in the UEFA Cup final (down 2-0 to Chelski at 62 minutes).  In Azerbaijan to add insult to injury.  It's on TNT for anyone who feels like wasting a perfectly good half hour.

I’m always happy to spend an hour watching Arsenal get shellacked...

First game of the Women's World Cup (France/Korea) is pretty damned good.  Better passing than the USMNT in the last WCQs.

That's a mighty low bar.

The French are stomping the Koreans. Clearly the better team.

China v. Germany.  I'm guessing the Chinese have the goal line cameras rigged, and the Germans are looking to the Japanese and Italians for help.
