Yup...just saw the scoreboard...

This International thing appears to be like summer camp for the European fall season.

The last time I went to FedUp Field was for one of those.  It was like 98F and Ruud van Nistelrooey almost melted like butter in a skillet.

Just saw the Wayne Rooney highlight from tonight. What a legend. The steal and pass were amazing.

Dirty trip play by Acosta took out their only option for a pass before Rooney made the steal.

DC United game at the Red Bulls is on FX1.  My first time to see Rooney with the team.

I see they are out of playoff position but have played 3-5 fewer games versus the teams they are competing against.  Is that because the stadium was not ready?

Nope.  It's because soccer is so European and gay...  :P

Yep, with the games in hand and as well as they are playing with Rooney they are in good position to make the playoff.

The Red Bulls have several players with lots of speed.

I've been half watching and half sending out emails, only thing I noted is that our guys are laid out on the field too much.

It'll be interesting tonight (8 PM; Channel 8 locally).    It should be a scorcher.

Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste it was hot at the pool.    I'm supposed to go golfing tomorrow morning.    I don't normally ride.    Tomorrow may be different.

I'm looking forward to it. We still need to get through the hotness in August and September.
